Achieve or exceed admission and room-night targets by promoting HKDL products and events among the travel trade in the assigned catchment area of western China (i.e. Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Guizhou). Complete market study reports with agreed quality and quantity. Create market presence in different trade channels, formulate business development initiatives which contribute to the bottom-line and review timely on the distribution efficiency of existing account portfolio.
Execute tactical promotions or advertising campaigns with key partners, in order to drive maximum revenue and exposure from the responsible catchment area.
Allocate resources (i.e. co-op marketing budget, point-of-sales materials, and sales premiums) for each individual account under own trade portfolio with an objective to assure cost effectiveness and yield the best return from responsible catchment area.
Maintain cohesive business relationships with HKDL trade partners including all key external parties such as local tourism bureaus, HKTB, airlines, other transportation providers, etc.
Conduct regular trade education with the assistance of direct reports. Prepare written reports, updated account information, trade and competitors’ intelligence.
