- Develop QC documentation for both internal and external audit
- Develop associated audit programs when necessary
- Provide technical support to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product compliance
- Conduct factory audits to ensure that factories meet international/customers’ compliance standards
- Check samples against product specifications to ensure that they meet customers’ quality standards
- Partners with merchandising to develop clear quality expectations
- Teams with sourcing and customer quality to ensure technical specifications are adequate and vendors can deliver on quality expectations
- Proactively drive quality by communicating quality expectations to vendors prior to production, gauging vendors’ ability to deliver expected quality, and addressing potential issues before quality problems arise
- Responsible for directing team to update the quality assurance manual as needed and ensuring vendors understand and comply with quality expectations, policies, and procedures
- Oversees sample construction process. Works with vendors to reduce sample lead time and ensure samples meet merchandising expectations for prototypes, photo samples, and platinum samples
- Coordinates field testing process. Review test reports and related documents and certificates.
- Partners with merchandising and Marketing to identify field testing samples requirements are manages the delivery of these samples and audit results,
- Deliver technical and quality induction to suppliers to train them on customer’s quality and technical requirements
- Resolve issues related to product quality on time so there is minimum impact to the shipment delivery

Requirements
- Degree or above in related discipline preferred
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial level, manufacturing industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO9000/ISO14000/AQL 2.5/4 is a must
- Knowledge in hardgoods products, product development process, manufacturing process, technical audit and QC inspection.
- Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
- Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communication effectively with internal and external parties
- Strong problem solving skills, handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment, strong analytical thinking
- Experience in leading change, improvements and innovation within field.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Literate in Microsoft office programs
- Frequent travel is required
