We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer.
You will work directly with customers to provide deep technical assistance in integrating NVIDIA DRIVE products into customer platforms, including understanding customer requirement, developing Nvidia DRIVE SDK, optimizing performance and solving the issues.
You need to work independently and be highly self-motivated. You should drive issues with little or no supervision. A key success for this position is not only a thorough understanding of NVIDIA DRIVE platform hardware and software, but a solid grasp of customer system design, use case requirements and software stacks. Excellent communication skills, flexible in task assignments and working under pressure are also indispensable.
What you'll be doing:
As a senior member, you will have good opportunity to work on the leading-edge technology of autonomous driving.
Closely communicate and work with Nvidia DRIVE customers, find out how to technically satisfy customer requirements.
Development on Nvidia DRIVE software SDKs, deep knowledge on the SDK functionalities and performance. deeply understand various vehicle sensors including Camera, Lidar, Radar, GPS, IMU, and so on.
To support customers more efficiently, you will work with internal global teams to align customer's requirements and SDK development status.
What we need to see:
You have a degree in EE/CS or closely related field or additional equivalent experience.
3+ year of relevant work and lab experience.
Full experience at embedded Linux, or QNX.
Excellent C and C++ skills.
Know about system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, communication, and parallel computing to build highly scalable and efficient applications.
You are experienced in developing system software mostly in user space but also feel comfortable in digging deep into kernel space and even low-level hardware.
Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
Experience with multimedia applications or frameworks is preferable.
Experience with MPEG-4/H.264/H.265 is preferable.
Good English language skills to work effectively with global development and support team.
Self managing and ability to break down complex problems in to manageable tasks.
