The Logistics Service Coordinator role is to provide logistics service support for Greater China’s logistics operation which relates to Dow’s Order to Cash and Material Flow Work Processes, coordinate operational activities among third party logistics providers (3PL’s) and target to achieve operations excellence & safety through management on day-to-day logistics operation, enable the safe, successful error free delivery of product to our customers at the lowest possible cost and efforts of seeking continuous improvement. This role requires knowledge of Dow logistics operation process & procedures including SAP systems.Primary Responsibilities Day-to-day order tracking on logistics activity progress and troubleshooting in partnership with Mode and business stakeholders;Drive operation excellence in focused business supporting area through execution compliance to operation measurement targets;Work in partnership with Mode on 3PL service provider performance management on day-to-day base;System transaction under SAP environmentMonthly vendor charge verification and support on payment process in partnership with finance;Participate business initiated projects as logistics focal point to support logistics mode & work process setup and responsible for respective implementation Documentation and filingDrive logistics WP optimization opportunities to achieve for efficiency and cost-effectivenessOther tasks assigned by supervisor Strictly follow work process and SOP to handle order timely and accurately for SAP transactions and operation coordinationEnsure accurate and timely GR and GI according to actual goods movement;On time payment applications for the 3PL vendors;Daily handling of requests sent from stakeholders or to Dow’s third party logistics company for inbound or outbound shipments and inventory movement management.
