External Contacts:Customer Quality Department, Purchasing Department and Business related department5.Main tasks:5.1 Development of processes and/or tools to optimize warranty data analysis and forecasts.5.2 Continuous monitoring and systematic analysis of field data (customer portals, data banks) and of respective indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and/or possible upcoming issues.5.3 Systematic internal and external reporting of field data, KPIs and triggers appropriate activities to contain field issues and the implementation of corrective actions.5.4 Based on the evaluation of possible risks initiation of measures to contain upcoming issues and if appropriate initiate reasonable escalation within Continental organization.5.5 Estimation/judgment of risks, construction of failure forecasts with the help of statistical methods (e.g. Weibull) if field issues occur.5.6 Initiation and leading of warranty reviews (where appropriate with the customer), warranty costs and “No Trouble Found”- incident projects and activities to implement corrective actions company-wide.5.7 Negotiation of rates and parameters of recognition with the respective customer with the goal to define cost optimized warranty settlements.5.8 Coordinate in case of special regress topics the proceeding including cost negotiations with the customer.Job Requirements:1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering or similar knowledge2. Professional experience in 5 years in Automotive Industry thereof at quality management, project management or product development3. Worked in international team at least 3 years4. Be familiar with ISO9001, TS16949, etc5. Fluent in English and in customer’s working language (written and spoken)6. Understanding of basic statistical programs (e.g. Minitab, XSel, Weibull ++)7. Strong skills in relevant quality methods (e.g. 8D report, 5Why, 6Sigma)8. Good ownership and high responsibility.9. POSITION SUMMARY Provides program management for Turbo Product Development programs. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Work at all levels and locations of BW ETTS Turbo organizations to get the necessary support for the development of different PD programs.Manage/organize the different activities leading to successful new product launch. This includes different Gate Reviews, Engineering Review set by BW PD Program Management process.Direct, coordinate, exercise functional authority for the planning, budget, organization and development of the programs Interact with internal customers (new product user) for timing, technical and process, to make sure successful launch of new product.Ensure the programs meet the goals set at the beginning of the programs (technical, financial, timing, industrialization and etc.) Report in a timely and organized fashion program status to Engineering Management and the cross-functional launch team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. 5 years working experience or more in the automotive industry, turbocharger is preferred.Minimum 3 years’ experience in program management.Fluent in both Chinese and English. Fluency in German a plus. Open to/understanding of other cultures. Management presentation skills and experience.
