General Responsibility: The (Senior) Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for leading strategic procurement activities, including spend analysis, detailed savings analysis, RFI/P/Q development and execution, macro-economic analysis, among other things in collaboration with US counterpart. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for developing sourcing category strategy and key performance indicators for assigned category in collaboration with US counterpartWork closely with US team to manage key supplier relationships and lead commercial discussions & issues negotiations (Costs, inventories, quality & production schedules etc.) as requiredPartner with internal teams to use sourcing tools to evaluate costs, competitively bid, and negotiate spend. Conduct RFI/RFP and market events regularly to meet YOY productivity goalWork closely with new product development team and other internal stakeholders to ensure suppliers fulfill design, quality, cost, delivery and compliance per agreed schedules and contracts. Lead, develop, and manage sourcing productivity projects.Define cost structures for key products, observe market trend for key cost drivers and build database for regular negotiationResearch and evaluate new potential suppliers and technology innovation in support of the Home Fragrance Business and other areas of Newell Brands. Drive continuous supplier innovation. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. 4-6 years of relevant sourcing and/or supply chain working experience in CPG.
