Disney is looking for exceptional Center Manager candidates to oversee the operations of a Disney English language learning center in Wuhan. The Center Manager will be responsible for working with Human Resources to hire and train a locally hired center operations team that will help deliver an innovative and immersive Disney English language training program that leverages Disney's beloved characters, stories, songs, animation and other materials, to provide a highly engaging and effective premium learning experience. The Center Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Disney and Disney English brands are well represented in the center to all staff, children and parents.
General Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and support both the Senior Course Consultant and Language Learning Director (LLD) in delivering the Operations Guide and Academic Operating Guide
Ensure that all new staff is trained in accordance with the operating guides and Disney English culture and values and receive timely, comprehensive and constructive feedback as to their performance.
Take full responsibility for maintaining an extremely fun and engaging learning environment that provides staff, children and their parents a safe and secure center.
Work with the national and regional marketing team to ensure that the center has sufficient qualified leads in the center each month and is effectively running programs that encourage word-of-mouth and referral sales.
Work with the Regional Sales Director to establish monthly sales targets and to motivate and drive the Senior Course Consultant and sales team to achieve and/or exceed their daily/weekly/monthly objectives.
Order all new non-academic materials for the center as required and ensure strict compliance with the monthly cost budget for the center as established by the Regional and/or National Operations Manager.
Work with regional and national finance to ensure that the center is in strict compliance on all accounting and finance matters.
At least 8 years work experience managing a fast moving retail or hotel industry.(consumer facing business).
Experience managing a children's English Language center or similar educational service business highly preferred.
Experience working in an international company and ability to work with and manage both local and foreign employees.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a large staff.
Solution oriented problem solver.
Bachelor degree or above required.
Fluent English speaker.
