Manager, Stamping Production, Maintenance and Engineering 冲压车间经理Scope of Position:A hands-on, key member of the Leadership Team, Manager of Stamping Production, Tool and Die, Maintenance and Engineering will assume an important role in the overall management, profitability and strategic direction of the business.Will have primary, functional day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all Stamping Production, Engineering, Tooling and Maintenance related activities for the company. Partners with other departments in production to ensure all priorities are addressed and customer requirements are met. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsEssential Job Functions - Lead, coach and develop Engineering, Tool Room, and Maintenance Department team members. - Oversee Quality Management Systems (ISO9001 & IATF16949). This includes leading external audits and management review meetings as well as keeping the system documentation current. - Oversee the design and build of new tooling (includes working with suppliers, consultants, etc.) and ensure quoted timelines and budgets are met. - Evaluate tooling and drive a continuous improvement culture. - Source and work with outside tooling resources. - Ensure Tooling spare parts program is proactively managed. - Coordinate efforts between Engineering, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Manufacturing to determine priorities and ensure they are communicated properly to the appropriate departments. - Recommend capital expenditures and expense items. - Report out on metrics / key initiatives on a monthly basis. - Demonstrated success introducing new products and new processes into a production environment- Ensure the integration of engineering resources with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.- Define, develop, and sustain production strategy, objectives and roadmap- Monitor daily production to ensure shipping requirements are met through setting and achieving production rates, leading operator communication, and facilitating productivity improvements.- Participate in future planning for manpower requirements, proposing solutions for manpower fluctuations- Participate in, lead, facilitate, and communicate production continuous improvements through Lean Initiatives such as, Kaizen (CIA), Value Analysis, Kanban, Error Proofing, Problem Solving, and Standardized Work, Quick Set-Up, and Six Sigma activities.- Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations Other Job Functions - Provide on-going guidance and timely feedback to managers to meet company goals. - Promote teamwork among departments and facilitate the accomplishment of objectives in such a way that contributes to the overall success of the company. - Work well under pressure, tight deadlines and competing priorities. - Willing and able to work long hours as needed. -Proven leadership capabilities; strong analytical skills and the ability to make data driven decisionsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities - Mechanical Engineering experience in the design of engineered products in a manufacturing environment - Understanding of deep draw metal stamping, fabrication and tooling. - Able to lead in a lean, continuous improvement culture. - Capable of making technical presentations. - Reads blueprints. - Accountable with sense of urgency - Creative problem-solving ability and high mechanical aptitude- Good business acumen - Excellent written, verbal, and face to face communication skills - Computer skills including Windows Office Suite - Visual ERP a plus - CAD knowledge (SolidWorks, AutoCad 3D, CATIA, Delmia) - Broad knowledge of engineering materials and understanding of manufacturing processes associated with metal stamping and machining manufacturabilityMinimum Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial related field. - 5+ years in management role(s). - Experience in metal stamping tools preferred-Candidates must be legally authorized to work in China and verification of identity and employment eligibility will be required.

  Main Objectives & Background  ZF corporation has identified China as a strategic growth market through 2025.  The sales growth of our combined businesses is planned to almost double from approximately 6.5B Euro (2018) to close to 12B Euro through this same period with an average YoY CAGR of more than 8%. We expect a corresponding growth in spend as well as a need for competent strategic local suppliers to enable this growth.  ZF plans to achieve this aggressive growth partly through a significant shift to locally designed products to support the local market.  We have identified design, supplier development and commodity purchasing as key areas to strengthen our capability and enable the strategy.  The Regional Sr. Commodity Manager is part of the global corporate Commodity Purchasing team, dedicated to the establishment of a strong local base of technically enabling supplier partners and driving BOM localization activities in the commodity “Motors & Motor Components”. The jobholder is the Senior regional commodity interface towards the business (local + global) to jointly drive localization of designs and “Motors & Motor Components” components in China. Thus, the jobholder acts as a problem solver & solution provider related to commodity purchasing activities and provides coaching & on-site management back up for the local cluster/commodity team in China.  Key Responsibilities 1. Build a strong local supply base to enable a local product portfolio in the China based businesses. 2. Deliver regional BU PPV savings targets. 3. Drive commodity purchasing localization activities with China + global teams to jointly achieve 85% localization target by 2025 4. Senior level escalation for regional supplier issues. 5. Coach & support, local line management and budget management of China based commodity team (11-25). 6. Drive local supply base consolidation from existing suppliers towards a strategic higher leveraged number. 7. Supplier relationship management incl. technology and investment road map alignments and VAVE opportunities. 8. Provide regional inputs to global part family strategies as active team member of the global commodity organization. 9. Mandated support for commodity/clusters local pricing negotiations.  Basic Requirements 1. Working experience: 10+ years of working experience in commodity “Motors & Motor Components” purchasing, operations management or product design. Global commodity leadership experience preferably automotive industry.  Experienced background in a multi-national company; 2. Education: Bachelor or master degree engineering, business administration, or 3. similar fields. 4. English: Fluent (writing + speaking); incl. negotiations in English 5. Mandarin: Fluent (speaking, reading and writing) Preferred. 6. German: Functional preferred. 7. Computer: Good general knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Previous exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred). 8. Qualification: Commodity management experience with both domestic and international exposure. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of driving significant savings. 5+ years’experience in leading a team of more than 5+ people is preferred.
