 Regional Product Lifecycle Manager (RPLM) is the focal point between the ww spares supply chain, the regional supply chain functions, and partner functions.  Leading as the regional CS supply chain strategy and capability expert for specific product lines. This role influences regional part strategies, manages execution of spares supply chain operational deliverables, repair, delivery, and regional master data quality for lifecycle events while balancing cost, customer satisfaction, and CS & product division product performance goals.  RPLM intern is required to support projects, initiatives, and/or special assignments which are strategic or highly complex in order to ensure timely availability of quality materials and services to support customer requirements, and CS regional performance and cost goals.



  • Support on the management a variety of product portfolios; collaborating & driving innovative regional strategies & actions necessary to ensure that the part supply chain portion of the end-to-end services delivery solution is timely and capable of providing a competitive customer experience with balanced cost & inventory performance.

  • Influence service and supply chain stocking strategies for all lifecycle phases to meet customer and business service level expectations and budget goals.  Then drive regional supply chain and master data operational execution deliverables & timelines for spare supply chain readiness.

  • Provide regional leadership to assure spares supply chain operational readiness for all lifecycle events.   

  • Influence and drive spare supply chain lifecycle strategies to meet regional level of availability (LOA) performance targets, regional customer, and business service level expectations while reducing financial exposure.

  • Provide regional strategic leadership and innovation on lifecycle management activities that improve operations, achieve cost efficiency, assure regulatory compliance, drive transformation, and introduce new business models.

  • Single regional supply chain focal for global teams and all regional service and support functions including outsourced partners on lifecycle events; strategies, issues, operational execution plans, status, performance metric reporting, and escalations.

  • CS regional supply chain lifecycle focal for strategic and operational process governance, tool efficiency, optimization, and transformation

  • Accountable for regional supply chain operational execution of regulatory and compliance (RoHS, Reach, etc.).

  • Accountable for regional support supply chain and operational service support partner’s new product introduction readiness

  • Assure service spares bill of materials are regionalized and that they support regional supply chain, engineering, business, and customer expectations.

  • Define, manage, and monitor regional spares supply chain strategy and execution plans for quality part rolls assuring continuity of supply while minimizing inventory excess.

  • Own, define & drive regional strategies for service part life time buy cost avoidance and inventory mitigation.

  • Own, define, & drive regional end of service life supply chain strategy and operational execution to assure exit spares support with no impact to contracted customers.

  • Regional escalation focal to provide alternate solutions for parts supply issues

  • Own regional master data readiness for all lifecycle events by obtaining and communicating all information required to assure the regional services and supply chain master data systems are set up on time to enable supply PO placement, central and local stocking, customer order fulfilment, and repair.

  • Owns regional master data “quality” - the right values are in the systems to enable supply chain, customer, and repair ordering based on defined support and stocking strategies.

  • Provide leadership and support to identify master data process and system issues, gaps, root cause, and solutions.  Also, influence and support master data process and system efficiencies, standardization, and improvements

  • Through collaboration & with persuasion lead internal/external groups & organizations to create, change, or enhance their supply chain management and master data quality spare part lifecycle event processes, tools, and governance, to improve efficiencies, financial & business compliance, business growth, & enhanced performance.

  • Contribute to definition and support product lifecycle management plan of record. 

  • Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.

  • Translate management directives and objectives into viable programs and ensure that there is a solid connection between business and organizational goals, activities, and performance metrics.

  • Clearly and effectively communicate activities, issues, risks, mitigation plans, and milestones, associated with each lifecycle plan to regional management and functional organizations.

  • Works across multiple countries and businesses; works horizontally and vertically



  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.




  • Must have strong people skills and excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

  • Comfortable working in virtual teams and using virtual tools

  • Present in front of a large group and ability to create professional slide presentations

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work of self and others

  • Self-starter and independent thinker

  • Capable of managing in a matrix environment

  • Experience in developing business plans/proposals

  • Innovative independent thinker with analytical/problem solving skills

  • Understanding of spares supply chain strategies preferred

  • General understanding of business financial concepts

  • Willingness to take ownership and risks

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with materials systems and ability to execute strategic planning

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units preferred
