Essential Responsibilities

  • Follow and implement channel onboarding processes for the channel representative Asia portfolio
  • Provide a high quality service to the business partner commercial teams with speed, quality and high level of customer satisfaction
  • Review sales representative, consultant, reseller, value added resellers, and distributors at the time of onboarding and renewal for risk
  • Highlight to the business key risks and risk mitigations steps for the business to consider
  • Connect and escalate to the Enhanced Due Diligence Examiners where representatives or consultants are being pursued for a particular project for a further deep dive review
  • Enforce global standards from the standardized global onboarding policy
  • Deliver Spirit & Letter compliance training to indirect channels
  • Perform due diligence and compliance activities
  • Participate in IRB (internal review board) process for approving high risk channels at the business partner request
  • Work with business contracting team to facilitate contract management
  • Assess and identify deviations from standard contract provisions to highlight to business teams
  • Work with business teams for a commercial solution to mitigate any identified risks
  • Collect business feedback on process or proposed policy changes
  • Conducting ongoing monitoring of key or high risk channel accounts
  • Provide cross business connections to feedback on channel and overall channel risks
  • Provide day to day compliance support to indirect channels
  • Provide analytical detail and narrative of findings to team and leadership


Role Summary/Purpose

This position will support compliance and business partner commercial teams to onboard new and renew indirect channels for the Asia region. The role will include process initiation, data collection/analysis, due diligence review, and compliance training/oversight to ensure standard onboarding policy is maintained across the region for indirect channels.



Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years prior combined experience in Commercial Operations, Legal/Compliance, risk management, audit, or a related field. 
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in related subject area
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, verbal) and English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Possess independent analytical skills
  • Prior commercial experience in management of indirect sales channels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong research, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and strong work ethic
  • Preferred candidates also will possess international experience, other foreign language skills, and an interest in compliance and ethics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; team player
  • Customer focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external parties, influence and motivate
