The local Graduate program is designed for Young Talents (undergraduates) who will spend two years gaining experience across various departments locally. Areas will be exposed to include Engineering, Inside Sales and Project Management. According to the current business requirement and company structure, at the beginning, the graduate will be located to Engineering department to pick up basic knowledge and skills of the company products and technical skills. By the end of 2 years, according to the company's needs, the graduate will be located in the best area that suits him/her.
Understand of Engineering design processes (CORB, JML, sizing, calculations, drawing creation, review and release)
Understand company tools (Salesforce, IFS, drawing storage & retrieval system)
Understand design and cost tools for turbine bypass valve design.
Understand industry applicable codes, general valve design and spare-parts.
Understand the Project Management process from Sales to Operations (Sales, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Production, Manufacturing, Assembly and Testing)
Increase knowledge of Plant, Application and Products of relevant technologies (control valves, desuperheater, actuation)
IS/AE Team Department:
Learn IS & AE process, working scope, accountability (involve whole sales process, from earlier stage technical suggestion, specification specified, proposal, pricing, quotation strategy, commercial negotiation, order place, supporting for order execution and delivery)
Learn IMI Critical Engineering production line and typical application, cover main products of Power, O&G and Petrochemical.
Introduction of Conventional valve, Drag valve, TBS valve, PRDS, Isolation valve, Z&J valve and technical character
Acquire knowledge on valve typical application and advantage
Train on sizing tools to calculate valve:
Applications: Smartsiz, Powersiz, Drag valve sizing
Basic commercial knowledge, such as T&C, Incoterm, VAT, costing
IMI pricing strategy, Smart Pricing
Learn how to use IFS to manage projects from customer order set up to invoiced/closed
Learn how to use APQP check list to control project risk
Learn how to set up project timing plan and control delivery risk through key milestones following up
Learn how to manage cost tracking sheet to control budget of the project implementation
Learn how to use 3C to track project risks
Learn how to efficiently communicate with customer and manage customer expectation
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor degree with major in Mechanical Engineering or related.
Familiar with Microsoft Office software, Auto-CAD and Solidworks.
Good command of English (reading and writing), to communicate with local and foreign colleagues and customer. CET4 is must, and CET6 is better.
Good command of Korean is preferred.
Excellent and proven interpersonal and influencing skills.
Intellectual strength and a high level of drive and personal commitment.
Working well under pressure, and engaging at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally.
Ability to make and accept challenge positively and debate confidently.
