Integration Product Manager-Oracle SOA / B2B

High-Level Position Purpose:

Owning the Damco’s critical global integration platform Oracle SOA / B2B, and other relevant applications e.g. Neuron ESB etc. Setting up the product strategy and roadmap, developing and implementing. Commercializing and promoting the products to go to market successfully. Liaising with different stakeholders including ITSOE, GSC, application managers, setting up sustainable operating model, managing the SLA and TCO.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Driving the success of the products in the global market places

  • Owning the global growth target for the products

  • Analysing and communicating the competitive (market) position of the products and provide recommendations

  • Working with relevant counterparts to forecast demand for this product

  • Value proposition definition to define a 12-month roadmap aligned with the strategy in alignment with local needs of this product portfolio

  • Strategic direction for product roadmap leading to revenue growth globally

  • Leading / managing the product development

  • Optimize the TCO for the products

  • Defining the service levels associated with the products (together with P&S and Application Managers)

  • Negotiating with ITSOE on allocation of costs from infrastructure components associated to the products

  • Defining and measuring the product’s service quality and value

  • Enterprise Architecture / integration architect

  • Integration commercial product manager

  • CEN & regional operation

  • CEN & regional commercial


Primary external stakeholders:

  • Key carriers or intermediaries

  • Key customers for specialized solutions

  • Strategic suppliers for integration products


Required experience & skills:

  • 10+ years of experience managing integration tools and projects as IT or business owner

  • Deep knowledge on Oracle SOA / B2B product;

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experiences on B2B (business to business) integration, e.g. EDI, API etc.

  • A strong understanding of the key developments in this domain as well as technology developments are key to success in this role.

  • Experience in commercialization of services in this domain and good understanding of competitive landscape

  • Experience in working in an international environment

  • Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships

  • Analytical skills

  • Collaborative mindset, open to feedback

  • Knowledge of the Agile way of working would be an advantage
