Job Description    As a Pre-Production MRPC, you will be playing an important role with a Supplier Management Team in Rolls-Royce Aerospace Supply Chain. The Pre-Production MRPC will support the SMT in processes for product re-introduction and new product introduction Integrated Project Team, taking the role of the prime contact for the P&C elements of the delivery, acting as an integrator between other functions to support delivery targets. You will need to ensure the creation, maintenance, execution and communication of detailed plans for supply chain change ensuring all necessary pre-production / re-introduction SCP&C functional steps are undertaken prior to handover to production.    You will be joining Supplier Management Team – Forgings & Fabrications, Installations China and you will be directly reporting to Supplier Management Team Manager and functionally to Production Planning and Control Manager, China.        Key Accountabilities (But not limited)Support the project lead (e.g. IPT leader) in the creation of Supply Chain Performance ensuring the logistics data is correct. Manage designated SAP MRP codeEnsure the ERP compliance data is maintained and reporting of exception messages for all NPI part numbers within the SCU is managed daily. Input and ensure maintenance of preliminary and production bill of material and associated component planning data that will enable cascade of demand through the supply chainEnsure raw material is provisioned in support of supply chain change and delivered in line with commitment to the IPT or project. Operate in accordance with EIA process Ensure the creation and instruction of new part number demands and requirement are accurately cascaded to the supply source, ensuring they are integrated with production schedules where necessaryProgram/Project Manage delivery of all new or re-introduction parts, working in conjunction with their SMT and supplier teams, ensuring the plan is created, monitored and executed in line with the commitment to the IPT or project teamMaintain standard P & C reports/trackers for all new and re launched parts including; new engines and major upgrades, part modifications for fleet and new engine projects, parts transfers for part number change engine and component re-introduction (greater than 2 years since last delivery)Ensure smooth transition from NPI and/or Re-Introduction of new and existing part numbers to the production MRPCs adhering to agreed handover criteria, where necessary acting as IPT lead for part re-introductions                                        Qualification:    BasicBachelor degree with 4+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing, Or Master degree with 2+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing            PreferredProject Management experience and skill setsSAP experience with rich transaction experience and familiar with transaction codeExperience with external supply chain including supplier managementExperience collaborating with various departments including design, procurement, manufacturing engineering and supply chain designUnderstand of the Gas Turbine engine development processes                            Join us and you’ll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known the world over for excellence and innovation.     We are trusted to deliver excellence.
